The Fred Hollows Foundation in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, form a global network that works to eradicate avoidable blindness around the world. Collectively working in over twenty countries world-wide, we have restored sight to well over one million people.

The network is built upon shared common principles and goals. These principles are guided by a commitment to the delivery of high quality health services, which are equitable, and embedded in recognition of the right to health for all.

Together and independently, the organisations are working to promote eye health and eradicate avoidable blindness throughout the world.

All the programs provided are built through strong partnerships and cross-sector collaborations at local, national and international levels.

The organisations focus on building capacities to produce high quality eye health services which can be sustained over the long-term. We work with, and support local people who have the commitment and capacity to make a difference to improve eye health.

The Fred Hollows Foundation is inspired by work of the late Professor Fred Hollows, whose vision was for a world where no one is needlessly blind.
